ACE SL-100-25-D-MP2

ACE SLAB damping pads are tailor-made viscoelastic mixed-cellular PUR (polyurethane) elastomer pads that slow loads impacting large or small surfaces. They absorb impact loads extremely effectively and are also suitable for insulating or damping vibration, making them a proven form of impact and collision protection.

The series spans three density grades — SL-030, SL-100 and SL-300 — each available in two standard plate thicknesses (0.5 in / 12.5 mm and 1 in / 25 mm). Pads can be cut to any size to suit the application or supplied as a molded part, and are simply bonded in place with an adhesive. Standard colour is green. The material operates from 23 °F to 122 °F (−5 °C to 50 °C) and carries a B2 fire rating (normally flammable, per DIN 4102).

Typical applications include linear slides and carriages, handling modules, luggage and transport belts, conveyor systems, impact panels, pipeline insulation, foundation mounting, electronic systems and controls, medical technology and buildings. Pads can be cut by water-jet cutting, stamping, splitting, sawing and drilling.

On request: special versions with further dimensions, thicknesses, colours, shapes and drawing parts (e.g. curves), and different wear layers. Chemical resistance data available on request. The chosen damping plate should be tested by the customer on the specific application.
