The SCS33 to SCS64 safety shock absorbers are built on ACE's proven MAGNUM absorber technology and are designed exclusively for emergency-stop duty. Each unit is maintenance-free, ready to install, and sized with ACE's custom calculation program for the specific application, which reduces the risk of crashes and incorrect sizing. An optimized characteristic curve lets these hydraulic machine elements absorb well over twice the energy of a comparable MAGNUM industrial absorber per stroke, with a service life of up to 1,000 full-load emergency cycles and a strong price-performance ratio. Their compact, slimline body integrates easily into existing equipment.

Typical applications include gantries and conveyor systems, processing and finishing centers, portal systems, test stations, swivel units, and cranes. Mounting is possible in any position, the positive stop is integrated, and the damping medium is Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). Note: the absorber can be pushed through its stroke; at creep speeds it offers minimal resistance with no braking effect. Special oils, special flanges, and other options are available on request.
