The Itoh Denki PM486XE/XP is a 24V DC brushless motorized roller with an integrated internal driver card, eliminating the need for a separate external controller and simplifying wiring directly to the roller. With a 1.91" (48.6 mm) diameter, single shaft mounting, spring-loaded shaft, and a standard 7 pin JST connector, the XE/XP provides variable speed control via external voltage input (0–10V DC) and a stable speed function across three gear stages. The XP model offers a high torque option for more demanding applications. Both models are controlled through simple RUN, DIR, and speed voltage inputs from any 24V DC switching source.

P1 single groove tube standard at 50 mm. Non-standard groove locations available with P1-OS or P2-OS designation. All shaft configurations available with grooved or straight tube.
Integrated Controller
The PM486XE/XP features an internal driver card — no separate external controller is required. The roller connects directly via a 7 pin JST cable with the following signal wiring:

A-B70-G / A-B80-G I/O Terminal Block
An optional I/O terminal block that mounts directly to the conveyor frame mounting bracket:
- Built-in 10kΩ resistor for speed variation
- Speed adjustable from 12.5% to 100%
- Reverse direction slide switch
- Green LED indication for 24V DC power
- Red LED indication for motor error
- 24V DC supplied using cable splice connectors
- RUN and DIR inputs from any 24V DC switching source
- C007 (70 mm) power cable option required for use with this terminal block
- ECF03003 connector wire required for functionality (purchased separately)
A-B70-G = Hex flat up; A-B80-G = Hex point up
Tube Length Considerations
- Standard tube / grooved: TL = BF − 15 mm
- VP (V-belt pulley): TL = BF − 35 mm
- VG (Poly V end cap): TL = BF − 41 mm
