The CB63 to CB160 safety shock absorbers are robust, heavy-duty units for emergency stop, with internal system seals so that even dirt or scratches on the piston rod do not lead to leakage or failure. Compressed-gas accumulators deliver high return forces, making applications such as multiple bridge-crane systems safer. The absorber body and the large-sized piston-rod bearing are engineered for heavy-duty operation, and each unit's damping characteristic is individually designed to the customer application.

Whether for crane systems or machines in heavy-duty environments such as the metal industry or mining, these powerful safety shock absorbers reliably protect equipment against expensive failure. Mounting is possible in any position, the positive stop is integrated, rod return is by integrated nitrogen accumulator, and the damping medium is Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). Special oils, special flanges, and additional corrosion protection are available on request.
