Techtop IEEE 841 Severe Duty Motors

Techtop SD3 motors are built to meet the IEEE 841 severe duty standard, and Techtop also lists them for IEEE 45 marine duty. This collection covers 1 to 300 HP at 3600, 1800, and 1200 RPM in 143T through 449T frames, rated 460V, in rigid base and C face versions.

The line uses complete cast iron construction with IP56 protection, labyrinth seals on both ends, stainless steel hardware, Class H insulation, and an Arc Arrestor shaft grounding brush. The motors are inverter rated for 15:1 constant torque under NEMA MG1 Part 31 and certified for Class 1, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D locations.

Service factor is 1.25 through 50 HP and 1.15 on larger frames. The warranty runs 60 months from date of shipment, the longest term Techtop offers.
