ACE hydraulic feed controls of the VC family are precision elements for the fine tuning of constant feed rates — ideal when sawing, cutting and drilling, and for preventing the stick-slip effect on pneumatic cylinders. The feed rate is set externally via a precision tapered V-groove adjustment segment, and the closed, self-contained hydraulic element is maintenance-free and ready to install.

As hydraulic oil is forced through the throttle opening, a constant feed rate is achieved over the stroke. On units up to 2.17" (55 mm) stroke, the proven ACE rolling diaphragm serves as the dynamic seal, piston-rod volume compensation and reset element. VC25 is available with a threaded M25x1.5 outer body (suffix FT) or as a smooth/plain body Ø 0.94" (23.8 mm) for clamp mounting (suffix F). Typical applications include handling modules, linear slides, automatic machinery and conveyor equipment.
