The SCS38 to SCS63 safety shock absorbers are slim, long-stroke units for emergency-stop applications. The large available strokes produce low reaction forces, and every maintenance-free, ready-to-install damper is individually designed to the customer application using ACE's custom calculation program, with metering orifices calculated and produced for the specific duty. These tailor-made machine elements are less expensive than industrial shock absorbers and remain effective for up to 1,000 full-load emergency stops.

They are the preferred choice for reliably protecting the end positions of rack operating equipment, conveyor and crane systems, heavy-duty applications, and test benches. Mounting is possible in any position, the positive stop is integrated, rod return is by integrated nitrogen accumulator, and the damping medium is Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF). An integrated rod sensor indicating full piston-rod extension is available on request (normally closed or normally open, PNP or NPN), along with special oils, special flanges, and additional corrosion protection.
